After its stop in Shadrinsk on Monday, the flame journeyed 129.2 miles southwest to the city ofChelyabinsk.The torch relay continued through the city on Tuesday.
The line-up of over 200 torchbearers inChelyabinsk included Olympic judokaMansur Isaev and six-time Olympic gold medalistLydia Skoblikova.
Chelyabinsk also featured the latest animal to carry the torch, a two-humped camel named Barsik.
Other torchbearers used a motorcycle and skis to transport the flame along the relay route inChelyabinsk.
The torch relay heads 194 miles southwest fromChelyabinsk to the city ofMagnitogorsk on Wednesday. Sochi 2014 says over 80 torchbearers will carry the flame inMagnitogorsk, which is located on the border between Europe and Asia.
According to Sochi 2014,Magnitogorskhas the longest tramway line in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg.
To celebrate the torch relay, the tram system decorated its vehicles with Sochi 2014 colors and symbols.
Overall, 14,000 runners will carry the torch across a distance of 38,525 miles.The flame is touring 83 towns and cities before heading back into European Russia, and ultimately Sochi, for the 2014 Winter Olympics opening ceremony on February 7.
