Tokyo 2020 Announces First Official Bid Partners

Tokyo 2020, Japan’s bid to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, today announced its first group of Official Bid Partners who will collaborate with the Bid Committee’s campaign to bring Olympism to the heart of the world’s most dynamic and safe urban environment. The companies, world leaders in their respective fields, will play various supportive roles over the remaining 15 months before the International Olympic Committee’s election of the host city.

Tokyo 2020 became a Candidate City on 23 May along with Istanbul and Madrid. Selection of the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games Host City will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 7 September 2013.
