Sochi 2014 hasn’t quite ended, but already TOP sponsor P&G is looking to what lies ahead for its athlete moms.
The women from more than 10 countries attended the event to find out what’s in store in PyeongChang when the next Winter Games kick off four years from now.
Guests heard from Korean skater Hae Jin Kim; her mother, Mrs. Sim Yu Kong; and PyeongChang 2018 president J. S. Kim. Family Home designer Phil Duncan was among those honoring the moms.
Three mothers were chosen to model hanbok, the traditional Korean dress. Lunch consisted of a traditional Korean meal, starting with kimchi, the spicy pickled cabbage that is a staple of Korean cuisine.
The 10,000-square foot Family Home lies just a few hundred yards from the PyeongChang 2018 pavilion. The Korean exhibition has welcomed more than 100,000 guests over the last two weeks.
