World Rugby is pleased to announce that tickets for the World Rugby Conference and Exhibition 2016 (ConfEx) are now on sale. The event, which will bring together leading figures and decision-makers from across rugby and the wider world of sport, is taking place on 14-15 November at the Hilton London Metropole.

ConfEx 2016 will offer a unique environment for members of the global rugby community to network, share knowledge and develop relationships while participating in insightful plenary sessions, workshops and an exhibition.

Under the theme The future of rugby, the event will examine how data can be harnessed to improve player performance and engage and inspire new audiences, in new markets around the world. It will delve into the evolving entertainment market place, lead a timely discussion about protecting sport from corruption and seek to answer how rugby can make the most of its return to the Olympic programme at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Taking place ahead of the event for the first time will be the 2016 World Rugby Awards. The ceremony, which will celebrate the accomplishments of players, coaches and teams from across the globe, will be hosted at the Hilton London Metropole on 13 November. Showcasing the very best in rugby from 2016, it promises to be an occasion not to be missed.

World Rugby Chief Executive Brett Gosper said: "World Rugby ConfEx 2016 is shaping up to be our best yet with more participants, a vibrant and engaging exhibition space and a varied and insightful agenda. We are delighted to announce tickets are now on sale and we urge everyone involved in the sport, from national unions, clubs and players, to regional bodies, rights holders, brands and sponsors, to attend.

"Our agenda this year will feature a range of interesting plenary sessions, with topics from player performance to fan engagement to integrity, brought to life by some of the best and brightest rugby minds, the most innovative and experienced technology professionals and a host of experts from the wider sporting community.

"As rugby continues to enjoy record growth around the world, there has never been a more opportune moment for the rugby family to come together to celebrate the game and debate the future direction of the sport so that we can steer it forward collectively."
