McEwan, 27, is an American professional ten-pin bowler from Stony Point, New York. In the recent Professional Bowlers Association – World Bowling Tour Thailand tournament, she defeated Stuart Williams of England in the decisive game, 225-179, to win the tournament and the 1 million Baht top prize (26.760 €).

Danielle McEwan currently competes on the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PBWA) Tour and in some events on the PBA Tour. She has been a member of Junior Team USA, and is since 2012 a member of Team USA. Since the rebirth of the PWBA Tour in 2015, McEwan has won four titles, including a major at the 2015 Smithfield PWBA Tour Championship. She is also a two-time winner of the World Bowling Tour Women's Finals. At The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw, she won silver.
"I am a very focused and driven person, which makes me come across as very intense," McEwan says, and continues: "Where that applies to bowling, it definitely doesn't outside of it. I am very adventurous and love to try new things. I also love to travel and am very fortunate that my career incorporates so many opportunities to do so. I love seeing different countries and experiencing their culture, sights and food."
The World Games is a multi-sport event staged every four years by the International World Games Association under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. The 11th edition of The World Games will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, 15-25 July 2021. 3,600 athletes from over 30 sports and 100 countries will take part in the Games
