The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee alongside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation held its first briefing for representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Moscow.

The briefing, held at the MFA's press-center, was attended by representatives of over 90 embassies. Discussions focused on the requirements of the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees in organizing the stay for international dignitaries at the Winter Games in 2014.

Diplomats were given information on how they would organize the stay of a foreign sovereign, a head of state or a Sports minister during the 2014 Games in Sochi. Accreditation procedures, arrival and departure, accommodation and transport, ceremony and competition visits were all discussed in great detail.

The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee's team responsible for International Dignitary program and the terms of further cooperation with the Organizing Committee were presented to diplomats at the briefing.
