The Russian Olympic Committee and Visa Inc. have launched the new project "Olympic recesses". The first recess kicked off on Friday on November 8 at the subway station Vystavochnaya, where all comers could get a ride by subway absolutely free of charge having squatted 30 times.

These days all one needs to boost his mood for the whole day and save money on the fare is to come up to a special machine in the subway and squat 30 times for about two minutes – it will suffice to enter the subway feeling good. Russian Olympic champions Maria Kiseleva, Elena Zamolodchikova and Alexey Nemov who were present at the opening of the unusual terminal even expressed regrets that in their childhood they were deprived of such a great opportunity to warm up before the workout, but they didn’t fail a chance to enjoy the warming up at the opening ceremony.

The main idea behind the "Olympic recesses" is to integrate sport into people’s everyday activity and the fuss in the initial stage of the project proved that Muscovites and guests of the capital have fancied the idea of ROC and Visa Inc. The terminal is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., if something goes wrong one could always get first aid, as there are volunteers on duty "equipped" with a valid certificate in first-aid training.

Alexander Zhukov (RIA Novosti) The competition on ideas for "Olympic recesses" will run to the middle of December. Ideas that have gained more than 100 Likes from social networking site users will be judged by the jury that will name the winner.

The President of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov will lead the judges’ panel. Besides at the judges’ table there will be famous champions - Olympic medalists along with Visa Inc. representatives.
