The Association of Francophone National Olympic Committees (AFCNO) has a new look and a new website (www.afcno) as well as accounts on the social networks Facebook and Twitter. These new looks will offer a better opportunity for members to communicate. AFCNO will thus be more visible among the international institutions.

The francophone cooperation is underway!

With 45 members and two associated organisations, the ambition of AFCNP, in accordance with the Olympic Charter, is to offer a platform for communication and cooperation within the francophone sport movement.

In partnership with institutions, such as the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the AFCNO has set up various 5 years projects for the francophone sport movement. For example, within the volunteers programme, a dozen of French-speaking young graduates are assigned every year to NOCs or associated organisations to work in different fields: the development of Sport for all and Olympic Education programs, the support of the francophone sports unions, etc.

Pr. Alain Ekra, Presient of AFCNO:

"I am very happy to announce the launch of our new communications tools. Since its creation, AFCNO works for the development of a real communication platform dedicated to the francophone sport environment. We hope from now on to gain international visibility and to successfully develop new cooperation projects dedicated to our members and to the francophone athletes."
