The convention will commence with the new "CityAccord" segment.
Formerly named "City Forum," the new program is designed to bring together cities, event organizers, sports commissions and more to discuss insights on hosting world sporting events under the theme 'Making Relationships a Priority'.
CityAccord will be preceded by City-to-City, an event focused on youth sports programs and activations.
Plenary sessions of the event will be held on the first two days of the seven day convention. Beyond the opening sessions, delegates will also have the opportunity to attend exhibition halls along with numerous workshops.
The conference will once again feature MediaAccord.
The MediaAccord conference gives a space for media and federations to collaborate on best practices to win over fans and build a strong online presence.
The one day LawAccord conference will be held in conjunction with the event again next year.
During LawAccord, delegates will hear the latest updates from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
SportAccord Convention 2018 is set to take place from April 15-21.
