SPONSORs Sports Venue Summit Program Finalized -- Conferences and Conventions

(ATR) The program for the ninth edition of the SPONSORs Sports Venue Summit is now finalized and will feature the host city of Hamburg’s ambitions to host both the 2024 UEFA EURO competition and the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The summit is set for Sept. 1-2 in Hamburg, Germany, two weeks before the German Olympic Sports Confederation must submit a bid to the IOC.

Located at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the final program can be seenhere and will focus on discussions involving new technologies and the impact venues can have on urban development, as well as allocating more time for attendees to network than ever before.

IPC Vista Conference

David Sanz-Rivas will headline the International Paralympic Committee’s Vista conference as the keynote speaker in Girona, Spain.

Sanz-Rivas has captained the Spanish wheelchair tennis team for the last five Paralympic Games and will give a speech focused on athlete pathways in wheelchair tennis, touching on the importance of long-term development plans for players.

The conference will take place from October 7-10 featuring the theme "securing the future of young-para athletes".

Host City Conference

More sponsors and partners continue to sign up for the Host City 2015 conference that will take place in Glasgow, Scotland from November 9-10.

Organizers of the event say it will be the largest European-based gathering of international federations, event owners and rights holders, suppliers and event destination markets.

The new sponsors who have signed on for the conference include World Wrestling Entertainment, Bern Tourism, Rock-it-Cargo and UK Trade and Investment. The organizers say even more will sign up in the near future.

The 2015 conference program has been finalized and can be found here. This year, the themes to be discussed include "Live Entertainment in the City." "Creative Marketing through Events, Brands and Media" and "Football in Europe’s Cities."
