Samsung Defeats Apple in Australia
Samsung scored a win in Australia as the Korean electronics giant's worldwide legal battle with Apple rages on.
Bloomberg reports that an appeals court overturned a ruling that banned the sale of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 on Wednesday.
Pending an appeal by Apple, Samsung can sell its tablet as of Dec.2 in time for Christmas shopping.
Apple originally won an injunction that blocked the sale of Samsung’s tablet back in October. The two electronics companies are engaged in a legal battle over intellectual property in nine countries.
The legal debates started when Apple filed a lawsuit in the U.S. against Samsung for allegedly copying the iPhone and iPad with its smartphones and tablets.
