P&G Sponsors Russian NOC

Procter & Gamble is teaming up with the Russian Olympic Committee for a major partnership.

"This collaboration is about much more than a sponsorship," said Patricia Lopez, P&G general manager and vice president.

"For P&G, it’s about bringing together P&G purpose of improving people’s lives and Olympic purpose to build a better world through sports. It is also about supporting athletes and serving moms and families as a company and through our brands"

P&G will work with the ROC to create a youth development program.

Ralph Lauren Unveils Brand Ambassadors

Ralph Lauren has announced its roster of brand ambassadors for the London 2012 Olympics.

The list of athletes includes swimmer Ryan Lochte, gymnast Jonathan Horton, beach volleyball player Jennifer Kessy and soccer player Heather Mitts.

The clothing company will also design Team USA’s uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies.

Rolex, Equestrian Federation Ink Renewal

Rolex is now an official partner of the FEI World Equestrian Games in 2014.

"The FEI is delighted thatRolex, one of the world's best brands and a dedicated partner to equestrian sport, has renewed its cooperation with the FEI's flagship event," said FEI secretary general Ingmar De Vos.

Competition runs from Aug. 24 to Sept. 7 in Caen, France. Rolex sponsored last year’s Games in Kentucky.

Digicel Backs Jamaican Olympic Association

The mobile phone and network provider Digicelwill sponsor the Jamaican Olympic Association through 2015.

The company will support the NOC for competitions including the Pan American Games, Commonwealth Games and Olympics.

Team 2012 Athletes Summit

More than 30 British hopefuls gathered Tuesday to receive lessons on competing at the Games during Visa's Team 2012 Athletes Summit.

Olympians Steve Parry and Katharine Merry as well as Paralympic legend Tanni Grey-Thompson spoke at the velodrome in London Olympic Park about their own preparations and challenges.

Visa is the presenting partner of Team 2012, which includes 1,200 athletes across 47 Olympic and Paralympic disciplines.
