Ottobock Celebrates Partnership
Ottobock celebrated its 25th year partnering with the Paralympic Movement with an event on November 15.
The event was attended by IPC president Sir Phillip Craven and Ottobock CEO Hans Georg Nader. During the event, Ottobock launched an exhibition celebrating 25 years of Paralympics images. The exhibition features photos from Getty Images and will run through January 2014.
Ottobock first partnered with the IPC for the 1988 Paralympics in Seoul, South Korea, and in 2005 became the IPC’s official Worldwide Partner.
Their partnership with the IPC currently runs through 2016.
"Since Ottobock’s first involvement in the Paralympic Games in 1988, they have grown into one of the Paralympic Movement’s most loyal, trusted, and reliable partners," said IPC President Phillip Craven at the event.
"Like the IPC, they are absolutely athlete-centred and around the world, athletes are eternally grateful to Ottobock and its team of experienced engineers for the superb technical services they have provided during the last quarter of a century."
FIS Partnership
The International Ski Federation's officially named Conceptum Sports as their logistics partner
The two parties agreed to a partnership at the International Federation Forum in Lausanne on November 5.
Conceptum Sports will not handle equipment logistics for all major FIS Ski and Snowboard events.
"Being appointed logistics partner is acknowledgement of our work over the years. For us, the logistics chain does not stop at the airport, but at the slopes," said head of logistics for Conceptum Sebastian Stahl in a statement.
