Nike Drops Athlete
Nike withdrew its sponsorship of US pole vaulter Brad Walker after a recent incident.
Walker taped over the Nike logo on his shoe inadvertently while tightening it for competiton.
"I am no longer a Nike athlete because while trying to use one of their products, I had to use tape to hold together a shoe that shouldn’t break down within 6 months," Walker wrote on his personal Facebook.
Nike declined to specify why they withdrew the offer.
"We can confirm an offer was made and the athlete did not take up this option in a timely manner," Nike said in a statement.
Walker said he plans to sell all of his Nike equipment on eBay following the events.
Great Britain Formalwear
Oliver Brown will provide formalwear for Team Great Britain at the Sochi Olympics.
Over 1100 pieces of formalwear will be provided to Team GB for the Games, as part of the Kitting Out program.
The formalwear will include Team GB embroidery on the outside pocket, a Union Flag on the inner pocket and a Team GB neck hanger.

AOC Renews Partnership
iSentia renewed its partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee through 2016.
The media intelligence company sponsored Australia at the London Olympics, and will provide up-to-the-minute analysis of the Australian Team’s media coverage through 2016.
iSentia will also create Newsboost portal for the AOC to provide to journalists
