(ATR) TOP Sponsor McDonald's will serve as an Official Supporter for the Baku 2015 European Games.

Baku announced Thursday that McDonald’s would offer in-store promotions for Baku 2015 within Azerbaijan and offer a variety menu designed for the games.

McDonald's and Baku 2015 will be able to use each other’s logos in branding as part of the sponsorship. The fast food company plans to offer competitions centered on the European Games as well.

There are 10 McDonald’s locations within Azerbaijan, which the organizing committee says reaches around 750,000 consumers a month.

"Given the strong reputation which McDonald’s has, it is fantastic to be able to rely on their support, which adds further credibility to our Baku 2015 brand," Charlie Wijeratna, commercial director at Baku 2015, said in a statement.

The Baku 2015 European Games will take place in June 2015.

Gwangju Adds Airliner

Athletes will receive travel to Gwangju fromAsiana Airlines for the 2015 Universiade.

The Gwangju 2015 Organizing Committee signed the airline group Wednesday to its highest rank in partnerships for the Universiade.

Yoon Jang Hyun, Gwangju mayor and chairman of GUOC; Kim Yoon Suk, secretary general of GUOC; and Kim Soo Cheon, president of Asiana Airlines participated in a signing ceremony at the Gwangju City Hall.

"As an official sponsor of the Gwangju Universiade, we will put forth our best effort to support the successful preparations and hosting of the Games,"Kim Soo Cheon, president of Asiana Airlines, said in a statement.

In addition to air travel, athletes will receive baggage services and other airline related services. Asiana Airlines will also be able to use the Gwangju 2015 logo on their goods as well as advertise on team uniforms and in competition venues.

Ski and Snowboard Renew Sponsorships

At their annual Partner Summit theU.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced an one-sponsorship extension with Kellogg's.

The USSA also announced four year deals withPaul Mitchell, Putnam, and Tempur Pedic Mattresses.
