The Adler Arena used for speedskating during the Sochi Olympics in February is to stage Russia's Fed Cup tennis clash against Argentina next month, competition organizers announced on Monday.
The April 19-20 match will decide which of the teams will remain in the elite World Group of Fed Cup nations.
The long track speedskating arena is one of six in the Olympic Park on the Black Sea coast. It was built especially for the February 7-23 Games at an estimated cost of $32 million and has a designated legacy use as an exhibition center.
Russia, a four-time Fed Cup winner, was forced to fight for its place in the World Group after defeat to Australia in the first round last month.
