Sochi Autodrom to Host the Open Round of the Russian Rally Cup for the First Time

On April 25th and 26th, the Open Round of the Russian Classic Rally Cup will be hosted by Sochi Autodrom. For the first time in Russian rally history a circuit will be used for rallying. Start, finish and 4 special stages will be held at the race circuit, which hosts the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix.

Looking for an interesting route for "2015 Sochi Autodrom" Rally the organizers explored both the mountains and the coast near Dagomys, Khosta and Adler. Finally, the 275 km route, comprising of 12 special stages, has been chosen. The route will take the competitors through the most spectacular mountain roads in Sochi, including winding passages and roads with elevation changes of up to 600 m.

Sochi Autodrom will welcome spectators to enjoy the opening ceremony and the racing battle from the Main Grandstand. The remote special stages action will be broadcasted on the screens.

Spectators will also enjoy an exciting entertainment program at the Sochi Autodrom. Rally fans and media will have a chance to talk to the drivers and to visit the service park, where they will be able to see the teams preparing and repairing their cars.
