Soccerex are delighted to announce a marketing partnership with the Football Medical Association, the independent representative membership organization for medics, therapists and science personnel in professional football, ahead of the Soccerex Global Convention, taking place in Manchester, 4th-6th September.

As part of the agreement, the Football Medical Association will contribute a minimum of two members to speak in the FMA workshop panel at the Convention. The FMA will also be part of a panel discussing doping in football which will ask whether our sport has a problem with drug cheats, and what is being done to identify and police the issue.

In addition to speaking at the Convention, Soccerex will provide a further platform for the FMA to showcase their work within the industry via a stand at the exhibition and sponsorship of a workshop in the new conference area 'The Lab'.

Soccerex, Marketing Director, David Wright commented:

"We are delighted to partner with the Football Medical Association, which demonstrates our commitment to expanding the breadth of insight we aim to provide the football industry all year round. The FMA assists in the delivering of high level medical services throughout the leagues and we are excited to work together on producing some fantastic medical insight for our audience."

Football Medical Association, Chief Executive, Eamonn Salmon said:

"We have worked in partnership with Soccerex in previous years and have always found the event engaging, illuminating and a terrific platform through which to highlight the medical and science arena. We are delighted to play a part again this year and look forward to meeting colleagues and supporting the performance aspect of the event at what is without doubt one of the highlights of the Football calendar "

The Convention will deliver unique business insight through a thought-provoking conference program, packed with industry leaders, and unparalleled networking opportunities via a market-leading international exhibition and a mix of targeted and structured networking sessions. A program of social events completes the agenda for what is widely acknowledged as the world's leading football business event.
