(ATR) The Smart Cities & Sport Summit has added a new session.

Titled "Sports Facilities Management – finding the right model," the session will delve into how cities can work to develop and invest facilities that best fit their needs and plans long-term.

Neelay Bhatt, vice president of PROS Consulting Inc, will speak on his experiences with public-private partnerships in building facilities, and Jin Teik Oon, chief operating officer of SportsHub Pte Ltd, will present on building the Singapore Sports Hub, the venue for the 2015 Southeast Asian Games.

The Smart Cities & Sport Summit will take place on October 12-14 in Lausanne. The summit is put on by the World Union of Olympic Cities.

Leaders Sport Business Summit

Dates for the 2015 Leaders Sport Business Summit have been set.

Stamford Bridge in London, home of the Chelsea Football Club, will host the event, set to take place on October 7-8.

The conference is expected to draw around 1,800 delegates this year and have over 50 speakers.

Participation in the event is invite only, and interesting parties can submit inquiries to attend here.

Details about the conference will be announced in the coming months.

City Events

Paris will host the sixth City Event conference.

Dates for the conference are Nov. 17-18. Registration for the conference is open until Nov. 16. Participants who register before Jul. 31 will receive the early bird rate of $752. Registration from Aug. 1 to Nov. 16 will cost $886.
