Russian Air Show will be held in Sochi instead of the Red Bull Air Race

There will be some changes to the air show program in Sochi, planned for May 2015.

Instead of the Red Bull Air Race residents of Sochi as well as city guests will watch the major spectacular air show performed by top Russian pilots.

The current exchange rate situation does not allow to find the proper balance between the operational costs and costs of the tickets for the event to offer event products to the guests at a reasonable price. OJSC Center Omega plans to deliver the Russian stage of the Red Bull Air Race Championship in future.

At the same time, Russia has always been famous for its rich aircraft tradition, having top-class pilots and unique aerobatic teams. During the opening ceremony of the first FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX, both spectators and TV viewers were greatly impressed by the fabulous performance of Rus Jet Team.

The national aerobatic show with Russian top pilots performing in modern and classic jets will be the major event of this spring. Top-class aerobatic maneuvers performed in front of the picturesque scenery of Sochi and the impressive Olympic Park will delight every single guest. In addition, the exposition of the participants’ aircrafts will be also available to the guests.

In 2015 Sochi Autodrom will host a lot of spectacular national and international competitions, with FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX being the major event of the year.
