Soccerex is delighted to announce that Rick Dudley, President & CEO, Octagon Worldwide, will be a featured speaker on 26-30 November 2011. Following his presentation, Dudley also will participate on a special panel exploring the role of agencies in sport. Joining Rick on the panel will be Grupo ABC Chairman, Nizan Guanaes.

Rick’s expertise in sports marketing is of the highest calibre having spent the majority of his career connecting brands to consumers through sports. He is one of only a handful of sports marketing executives to have held senior management positions with three of the major professional sports leagues in the United States including the NFL, MLB and the NHL. Rick consistently is recognized as one of the sports industry’s most influential leaders. For the last five years, he has been listed among the industry’s 50 most influential people in sports by SportsBusiness Journal and was including in the "BusinessWeek Power100" listing of the most influential in sports. He also is ranked among the top 20 most influential CEO’s in the sports world as compiled by SportBusiness magazine.

The session will examine the role of Agencies with regard to delivering major sporting events. Panellists will discuss the future of sports marketing and how changes might affect the traditional role of agencies going forward.
