APRIL 18 2019
Well-known brands on the Belarusian media market, the online portals Relax.by and 103.by, became media partners of the 2nd European Games. The relevant agreement was signed in Minsk on April 18.
The portals are owned by ARTOX, a resident of the Belarus Hi-Tech Park. In accordance with the agreement, a separate section dedicated to the 2nd European Games will be created on Relax.by, a well-known portal about leisure and entertainment. The popular medical portal 103.by will also promote the multi-sport event.
For the Minsk European Games Organising Committee (MEGOC), the agreement is important because it helps to spread information about the Games to potential tourists and sports fans. The ARTOX portals are absolute leaders in their market segment and will thus help to spread information to the broadest possible audience.
George Katulin, CEO of MEGOC:
"One of the main tasks the Organising Committee has set for itself is to sell tickets to the 2nd European Games. The work completed in this regard is being monitored every week. Our new media partners have direct access to the nearest neighbouring countries. It's no secret to anyone that we expect the greatest number of guests and sports fans to come from there. The popular resources will help us to tell them about the Games and our country. We are pleased that our work does not go unnoticed, and attracts partners from governmental and non-governmental organisations."
Alexei Zakharevsky, Co-founder and CEO of ARTOX group of companies:
"It is an honour for us to support the 2nd European Games in Belarus. ARTOX has been involved in online marketing for more than 13 years. The projects carried out in Belarus - Relax.by, 103.by, Dom.by (Belarus’ construction portal) - are present on the markets of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia. We want to use these resources to bring information about the upcoming global sports event to the residents of these countries. The total audience of our outlets is more than 14 million visitors per month. We have already developed a large-scale plan to promote the Games in the above-mentioned countries. We will aim to cover this event to our maximum capacity."
The new media partners of the 2nd European Games have already created a unique project for Belarus, called Taste of Belarus. The project includes a compilation of photos of about 2,000 national dishes from 200 restaurants in Minsk. An online catalogue is also being created, where users can review each dish and see its rating, as well as ratings of restaurants where the dishes can be sampled. A printed version of the catalogue will be released in time for the Games, and there are plans to present the catalogue at the airport to each newly arrived foreigner. In this way, a growing number of people from all over the world will learn about the best gastronomic and other brands of Belarus. There are plans to integrate the project with the site of the 2nd European Games and the official mobile app.
