SportAccord Convention is delighted to announce its Principal Media Partners, SportBusiness Group, Sportcal and Yutang Sports to help promote and deliver news stories at this year’s Convention taking place from 2 - 7 April 2017. Now in its 15th edition, the annual 6-day event is attended by key decision-makers across sport and industry who will gather in the stunning city of Aarhus, Denmark.

The successful introduction of a tiered media partner strategy last year, delivered wide-reaching results for the SportAccord Convention delegation and their organisations. As a result, one of this year’s Principal Media Partners is Yutang Sports who provided in-depth coverage across SE Asia and the Anglo-Chinese sport business community around the globe for SAC2016. As well as reporting news stories, Principal Media Partners Sportcal and SportBusiness Group, also shared unique insights, knowledge and expertise with delegates and hosted workshops. SportBusiness Group focused on Effective Event Hosting Planning, helping organisations to ensure their event is delivered on time and within budget; while Sportcal delivered a workshop focused on How Hosts and Owners can Understand More about the Impact of Sport using narrative and data.

Welcoming this year’s Principal Media Partners on-board, Nis Hatt, Managing Director of SportAccord Convention said, "We are delighted to be working with these media organisations once more. Both SportBusiness Group and Sportcal have been with us since the Convention’s inception and we are grateful for their dedication and support. Yutang Sports came on-board last year and the results of their efforts helped to bring expansive media coverage and awareness to the region." Hatt went on to say, "Our media partners are an integral part of the SportAccord Convention and helped to deliver over 1,500 unique news stories around the Convention covering the business of sport."

SportAccord Convention is host to annual general meetings of governing bodies as well as bid cities, and once again, will welcome a delegation from the International Olympic Committee. The SportAccord Convention Official Schedule also includes a Plenary Conference, City Forum, LawAccord and MediaAccord, and this year’s overarching theme is ‘Innovation in Action’. These conference sessions are intended for International Federations and organisations who want to get up to speed with the latest thinking, as well as hear the news and views of sporting leaders from around the globe.

With four days to go before the delegate pass rises to CHF 2,500 on 6 February, and the exhibition proving as popular as ever with 85% of booths now sold, organisations still considering whether to become involved should take action and register as a delegate or secure a booth at www.sportaccordconvention.com. For those who would like to go the extra mile and benefit from this unique opportunity, a couple of Bronze partnership opportunities remain.
