In the final installment in ATR's four-part roundtable on Sochi 2014, the crew discusses the atmosphere around the Games.

For Brian Pinelli, the mountain events did not have the "hoopla and pageantry" that is sometimes seen at World Cup skiing events.

"Skiing and freestyle skiing not being two of the major sports here in Russia ... I think that hindered a little bit the atmosphere up in the mountains."

He did mention, however, that most mountain spectators were happy with their unexpected suntans.

Mark Bisson called the Games "devoid of atmosphere," in part blaming the Olympic Park's isolation from Sochi proper.

"There wasn't much integration or knitting together of the Games and hospitality."

Editor-in-chief Ed Hula called himself "not too keen" on winter weather, so he was thrilled with conditions that led Karen Rosen to call the Games "the first Spring Olympics."
