POCOG signs Interpark as Official Ticket Supporter

Interpark to cover ticketing sales and distribution at 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Interpark Corporation (hereafter Interpark) has signed on as the Official Supporter for the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG) covering the Ticketing Sales and Distribution Services category in the Republic of Korea.

Interpark will offer ticket sales services to key client groups and the general public in the Republic of Korea. Interpark will also provide the required ticketing system, equipment, and personnel needed to implement the POCOG ticketing program.

POCOG Secretary General YEO Hyungkoo said, "It is very meaningful to have Interpark, which is one of the leading companies in the ticketing business in Korea, as a sponsor. Through its outstanding infrastructure and sales know-how, PyeongChang 2018 is striving to achieve full stadia."

Interpark Corporation is one of the largest and most acclaimed ticketing services company in Korea that has already successfully supported a number of international sport events including the 2002 FIFA World Cup, 2010 Formula 1 Korean Grand Prix, 2011 IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Daegu, and recently the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade. In addition, Interpark is leading the ticket services for the entertainment business in Korea with their accumulated experience of performance ticketing services.
