(ATR) The China Football Summit hosted by sport services and strategic management company Pioneer Sports will take place beginning June 1.
The two-day summit will host a variety of panel discussions with topics including intensive youth football development, mergers on foreign assets, advantages of Big Data and more.
Alisports (Shanghai) Sports Events Operation Director Daniel Tao, FundLife International Founder/CEO Marko Kasic and Shanghai Football Association Vice Chairman Shen Lei are among the 19 panel speakers.
Following the summit, delegates will also have the opportunity to tour the Real Madrid Evergrande Football School.
The event held in Guangzhou, China will conclude on June 2.
Networking the Focus at First Ever Russian-Chinese Partnership Forum
The Russian-Chinese "Partnership in Sport" Forum is the first major sports industry event of its kind between the two prominent countries.
The event, hosted by Eventica Sport, will take place in Beijing on May 14-15.
The Forum intends to bring together businesses, leading representatives from sport, political organizations, members of the media and more.Delegates will have the opportunity to initiate a number of agreements between the two countries in the field of sports marketing.
Networking opportunities as well as discussions on technology, marketing and education will also be available for the those attending.
Host City Asia Heads to Olympic City
The Asia edition of the Host City conference will be held at the future home of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games – Beijing.
"China is investing $850 billion in sports by 2025 and is looking for global partners to develop its entertainment and cultural sectors. Host City Asia provides the platform to connect the international industry with this booming market," Host City’s Editorial and Conference Director Ben Avison said in a statement.
Host City is the largest meeting of cities and sports, business and cultural events where delegates examine how to build sports and entertainment brands, investment strategies and more.
Host City Asia will take place on Oct. 18.
IOC Sports Director Joins 'The Academy'
International Olympic Committee Sports Director Kit McConnell will conclude 'The Academy' conference with a discussion on 'The voice of athletes: moving from peripheral influence to true authority'.
McConnell has worked with the IOC's sport department since 1996 and moved into sport operations in 2000 where he put his focus on the Sydney Games. Since then, McConnell has overseen the 2002 Salt Lake City Games as well as the 2007, 2011, and 2015 Rugby World Cups.
Other speakers including TrueNorth founder Richard Stephenson, PRISM founder Steve Madincea and Managing Director/Chairman of Sports Practice of Burson-Marsteller EMEA Dennis Landsbert-Noon will host master classes during the conference.
