Dr. Klaus Schormann, President of the international federation of Modern Pentathlon was notified by IOC President Jacques Rogge during the meetings of the IOC executive board in Quebec that the IOC Council of the Olympic Order has taken the decision to award him with the Award of the Olympic Order for outstanding services to the Olympic Movement.
USA Pentathlon congratulates Dr. Schormann for this well deserved honor on the eve of the London Games.
