Paris Ready for Sports Innovation Summit -- Conferences and Conventions

(ATR) There are more than 25 speakers on tap to speak at the Sport Innovation Summit in Paris, France on June 6-7.

The SiS will be the second held in 2017 following a successful event in Mexico in February that was hailed as the largest innovation and networking sports conference of Latin America.

The speakers will touch on topics including fan engagement, fan experience, media and broadcasting, sports performance, innovation at the core of events and the storytelling ability of sports.

International experts in these areas will have a platform to network and share ideas that are helping to shape the sports and media industry of the future.

Representatives of Paris 2024, Manchester United, the San Francisco 49ers, Facebook, FIBA, Cornell University, IPC, FC Barcelona, and European Commission will be among the more than 600 participants of the two-day summit.

The summit will be held at the Paris Centre Marceau auditorium.

iSportConnect Hosts eSport Education Class

ISportConnect will host an master class on electronic sports (e-sports) asits popularity grows rapidly around the world.

The public event will be held at the Lewis Silkin law firm in London on June 29.

The masterclass will open with a keynote on e-sport relevancy and growth. Following the keynote, delegates will have the opportunity to attend three panel discussions on topics ranging from the future of e-sports to reaching millennials.

The event capacity is capped at 70 delegates allowing intimate access to key decision makers in the e-sports industry.

SportAccord Convention Unveils 2018 Theme

SportAccord Convention reveals that marketing and sponsorship will be the main theme for the plenary sessions of the 2018 conference.

Plenary sessions will be held on the first two days of the seven day event. Beyond the opening sessions, delegates will also have the opportunity to attend exhibition halls along with numerous workshops.

The conference will once again feature the City Forum along with MediaAccord. The forum is designed to bring together cities, event organizers, sports commissions and more to discuss insights on hosting world sporting events.

The MediaAccord conference gives a space for media and federations to collaborate on best practices to win over fans and build a strong online presence.

The one day LawAccord conference will also be held in conjunction with the event again this year.

During LawAccord, delegates will hear the latest updates from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

The 16th edition of the event is set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand from April 15-21, 2018.

International Sports Convention Returns to Switzerland

The International Sport Conventions will continue its partnership with the city of Geneva, Swizterland for its 2018 edition.

The last convention, also held in Geneva in 2016, hosted delegates from over 80 countries and more than 150 speakers were in attendance.

The 2018 edition of the event is expected to bring in more than 150 speakers, 120 exhibitors and 2,000 delegates beginning Dec 5.

The convention that touts itself as the world’s largest business-to-business sports convention will also feature 18 separate conferences over the course of two-days.
