Pan Am Games Attract Large Crowds in Toronto -- ATRadio

(ATR) Toronto 2015 organizers say over 900,000 people have bought tickets for the 2015 Pan Ams.

(ATR)Toronto 2015 organizers say over 900,000 people have bought tickets for the 2015 Pan Ams.

The United States is three medals in front of Canada at the 2015 Pan American Games, as athletes in Toronto enter the second week of competition.

The host country and the U.S. leads the medal table for the Pan Ams right now by a bit of a landslide.Over 6,000 athletes from 41 countries are participating in the Games.

The program for the Pan Ams includes some 364 events in 36 sports. Sixteen sports on the program are serving as qualifiers for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Competition ends on July 26.
