One of a Kind, Olympic-themed items and experiences up for grabs

TORONTO – Today, the Canadian Olympic Foundation announced that it would be offering priceless experiences and items of Olympic proportions to fans as part of their 2014 Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame & Induction Ceremony live and online auctions. The auctions will offer fans the chance to get their hands on officially signed Olympic memorabilia, opportunities to ski, trips with various Sochi Olympians and much more.

This elite event, taking place at the Saddledome on June 6, will feature world-class entertainment and conclude several days of community outreach and public appearances across Alberta and Ontario by Sochi 2014 Olympians. At the event, a live auction plans to raise much needed funds for Canadian Olympic athletes. In addition, an online auction will run from May 26 to June 4, also offering priceless items and experiences.

Experiences include a half day on the slopes, accompanied by either the Dufour-Lapointe sisters, Alex Bilodeau, Brad Spence, Kelsey Serwa or Brady Leman; a five-day trip to the Rio 2016 Games including accommodation, daily breakfast, two tickets to three Olympic events and ground transportation; and a fishing trip with Jesse Lumsden and Aaron Feltham, to name a few.

"The Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame & Induction Ceremony live and online auctions are offering fans once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to spend time with Olympians and to get their hands on some priceless signed memorabilia," said Marcel Aubut, President, Canadian Olympic Committee. "I encourage Canadian Olympic fans to get behind this great cause, which gives back to Olympians and high-performance sport in Canada."

By bidding on a unique piece of Olympic history or one of these once in a lifetime Olympic experiences, bidders will be supporting the Canadian Olympic Foundation.
