(ATR) The Vancouver 2010 flame travels southwest through the Canadian province of Nova Scotia on Day 20 of the torch relay.
Yesterday highlights include the torch advancing through 10 towns in Nova Scotia. The flame was carried by one Olympian in athletics and one Olympian in swimming and took a ride in a jog cart by a horse jockey.
Today, the flame continues its journey throughNova Scotia. The torch relay will advance through 12 towns with Millbrook being the first welcome. The torchbearers will then carry the flame through Stewiacke, Shubenacadie, Elmsdale and Enfield.
Canoe / kayak Olympian Steve Giles will carry the torch through the town of Waverly as it progresses onward through North Preston, Cherry Brook, Cole Harbour, Dartmouth and Beechville.
The torch will be carried by Olympic paddler Andrew Russel as it takes a ride in a canoe from the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Swimming Olympian Gary Macdonald and ice hockey Olympian Sidney Crosby will also be torchbearers in Halifax where the torch will rest for the evening. Music and entertainment on the Grand Parade grounds will celebrate the welcome of the flame.
Tomorrow the torch will travel and reach the southwestern tip of Nova Scotia.
