Torchbearer highlights:

Dame Ellen MacArthur will carry the Flame in East Cowes. She first hit the headlines in 2001 when she raced single-handedly non-stop around the world in the Vendée Globe when only 24 years old, finishing second in one of the hardest events in offshore sailing. Her status as one of the world's greatest ever offshore sailors was confirmed in 2005, when after 71 days, 14 hours, 18 minutes, 33 seconds at sea, she became the fastest person to circumnavigate the globe single-handed.

Shirley Robertson will carry the Flame in Newport. After two previous Olympic Games appearances in Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996, Shirley proved beyond doubt her sailing pedigree by winning gold in the Europe class at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. However it was four years later, at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, that she made history by becoming the first British women to win Olympic gold medals at consecutive Games. Building upon this, Shirley made the switch successfully from interviewee to interviewer and forged a media career as both a presenter and commentator. Alongside this Shirley is actively involved in charity work, acting as a Patron for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and as a mentor in the Champions for Schools: Winning Scotland programme.

Calypso Ranshaw, 17, from Ashford, will carry the Flame in Lymington. She was selected through the Coca-Cola Future Flames programme for her immense passion for sailing. She is in the junior Olympic sailing team, and is hoping to make the 2016 Olympic Games. She helps share her passion of sailing by training younger children to sail.

Nathan Bailey, 18, from Bournemouth will carry the Flame in Boscombe. a Lloyds TSB Local Hero and trampolinist from Bournemouth, selected by Lloyds TSB because of his commitment and dedication to his sport and inspiring his peers by working with local children in his community during off season.

William Dowdall, 86, from Southampton, will carry the Flame in Southampton. William was nominated through the LOCOG public nomination campaign. Jim suffered a mini stroke at 71 and part of his recovery was to have a goal, which was to run the London Marathon, achieving this at 73! He has since gone on to complete 8 marathons in total raising nearly £16000 for a local cancer charity. After raising this staggering amount of money Jim was recognised with an MBE, he has also been awarded a Local Hero award.

James Williams, Director, Olympic Torch Relay, Coca-Cola Northwest Europe & Nordics, said: 'Today, more Coca-Cola Future Flames will help us celebrate the fifty-seventh day of our amazing journey, including Connor Dawson and Hattie Gould who carry the Olympic Flame in Boscombe and Totland. We will also get everyone to Move to the Beat tonight as we bring Wretch 32 to the stage in Southampton.'

Sally Hancock, Director, London 2012 Partnership at Lloyds Banking Group, said: 'The Olympic Torch Relay has had a phenomenal reception in each community it has touched and Lloyds TSB is creating as many opportunities as possible for people to get involved as the Olympic Flame passes their door. We're calling on everyone to cheer their local Lloyds TSB Torchbearers - extraordinary people like Lloyds TSB Local Hero and rising star of trampoline gymnastics Nathan Bailey, carrying the Flame in Boscombe. Our troupe of performers, the Flame Followers, are lighting up the celebrations along the route ahead of the Relay before their Flame Followers Spectacular in Southampton tonight.'

Sunny Hwang, Vice President & Head of Global Sports Marketing, Samsung Electronics, said: 'Samsung is delighted to be a Presenting Partner of the Olympic Torch Relay as it has given us the perfect opportunity to encourage everyone from all around the world to be involved in the Olympic Games.'
