Oktawia Nowacka (POL) continues to lead the Women's Modern Pentathlon at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and will start the Combined Event in first place.
Nowacka (POL) will have a 12-second advantage over second-placed Elodie Clouvel (FRA) and third-placed Melanie McCann (CAN) will start 29 seconds behind the leader.
Five riders enjoyed a maximum score of 300 but there was drama at Deodoro Stadium as both Laura Asadauskaite (LTU) and world No.1 Lena Schoeneborn (GER) incurred a zero score after four refusals. They will each start the Combined Event with a two-minute handicap.
Due to a delay in the competition the Combined Event will not start before 6.15pm local time.
Earlier, Nowacka (POL) won the Fencing competition and Gulnaz Gubaydullina (RUS) won the Swimming event and set a new Olympic record.
