FINA is pleased to announce its official partnership with Japanese giant Nikon Corporation for the upcoming 13th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) to be held from December 6-11, 2016, in Windsor, Canada.

As an official FINA Partner, Nikon will provide, through Nikon Professional Services (NPS), support and services to all media on-site, including equipment inspections, cleaning, and the loaning of equipment.

In addition, the transformation of the WFCU Centre into the 25m-pool for this event will be recorded with Nikon’s first action camera, the KeyMission 360, which is waterproof and capable of recording 360° video, and the images will be released on the Championships SNS.

A cooperative promotional campaign encouraging visitors to take commemorative photos will be implemented at the Championships venue by the organisers and Nikon Canada Inc. to enhance the excitement of the event.

Nikon first partnered with FINA in 2007 and has supported the FINA World Championships and the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) ever since. Because of Nikon's respect for athletes and the values they carry, combined to the company’s wish to enhance its presence worldwide, Nikon will continue to support international sporting events.
