It gives us great pleasure to introduce the new President and Vice President of the AISTS. With the recent retirement of Professor Jan Anders Månson from EPFL, Professor François Bussy has been elected as the AISTS President. Professor Bussy is the Vice Rector of the University of Lausanne for Research and International Relations and has a strong connection to the university, which dates back to when he was a student at UNIL.
The AISTS also elected a Vice President, Professor Jacques de Werra from the University of Geneva. Professor de Werra is Vice Rector of the University of Geneva for Relations with International Organizations, among other affairs, and holds his doctorate of law in intellectual property. Both took office officially on the 28th of March, 2017 and we look forward to the continued strong collaboration that we have with our founding institutions and the insights they will bring to the AISTS.
