NEC selected as Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner for "Specialist Public Safety Equipment & Software" and "Network Equipment"

NEC Corporation (NEC) has been selected as an official Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner, it was announced by the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee today.

NEC Corporation (NEC) has been selected as an official Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner, it was announced by the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee today.

NEC has joined Tokyo 2020’s growing list of Gold Partners and will provide valuable services in the categories of "Specialist Public Safety Equipment & Software" and "Network Equipment."

Yoshiro Mori, President of Tokyo 2020, remarked, "I am delighted to announce that we have concluded a contract with NEC, which will see the company become a Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner. The active participation of NEC – one of Japan’s leading companies – will be a major factor in ensuring the success of the Tokyo 2020 Games. Not only will NEC support the Games with its state-of-the-art network equipment, but the company will also make an invaluable contribution to the overall physical security of the Games through the introduction of its leading-edge public safety equipment and software. We are looking forward to working closely with all members of NEC staff towards the delivery of a Games that will live long in the memory."
