The draw for the sixth Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Football Championship, scheduled to take place on the second week of this month, will take place on Friday. This came during the third meeting of the executive committee held at the Bahrain Football Association premises in Riffa. The meeting, chaired by Shaikh Nasser’s media and information office director Tawfiq Al Salehi and attended by heads of the working committees, reviewed proposed matches fixtures as well as other necessary arrangements ahead of this sixth edition championship, which will have 16 teams vying for the title. Participants will include the top eight teams from last year’s event.
