(ATR) ATR is in Barcelona for the 15th Aquatics World Championships...The BWF World Championships begin next week in Guangzhou, China...MMA stars compete and support Olympic wrestling.

ATR On the Scene for FINA World Championships

The 15th FINA World Aquatics Championships continue in Barcelona.

Events began on July 19 and will continue through August 4.

The women’s water polo quarterfinals begin today at 3:30, and the men’s quarterfinals begin tomorrow.

Swimming events continue throughout the week. Diving events take place today through Wednesday.

The closing ceremony takes place on Sunday.

MMA Supports Olympic Wrestling

Bellator: MMA and Spike TV, both supporters of USA Wrestling, will present a fight card with Olympic wrestlers turned mixed martial artists.

Competition begins at 7:00 pm ET in the United States, and is organized to support wrestling's campaign to re-join the Olympic Program for 2020.

"The sport of amateur wrestling churns out some of the best athletes in the world, and this fight card demonstrates the breadth of talent that has risen through the collegiate and Olympic wrestling ranks." said Bjorn Rebney, Chairman and CEO, Bellator: MMA said in a statement. "Wrestling deserves the Olympic platform to showcase these incredible athletes."

World Games Continue

Competition in the World Games continue in Cali, Colombia.

The closing ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 4.

Heading in to Monday, Italy topped the medal tally.
