Conceptum Sport Logistics is transporting for the Bobsleigh and Luge Federation of Germany (BSD)

Frankfurt / Koenigssee - In a few weeks the Viessmann Luge World Cup will take place in Koenigssee – on the first and second of December women's and men's teams from around the world will be ready for the match with their one and two-man bobsleigh. The German project logistics experts of Conceptum Sport Logistics (www.conceptum-sport-logistics.com) support the Bobsleigh and Luge Federation of Germany (BSD www.bsd-portal.de) with the logistics for the entire team and sports equipment. Since October 17, the team of the ice channel in Koenigssee is already icing up the track – just in time for the international training week in November and the upcoming tournaments. Originally, the competition was supposed to take place at the Olympic track in Cesana, Italy – a few months ago Koenigssee was awarded the contract by the International Luge Federation, FIL, which is cooperating with Conceptum Sport Logistics as well.

The Bobsleigh and Luge Federation is supported by comprehensive logistics from near Frankfurt – the headquarter of Conceptum Sport Logistics is located close to Frankfurt international airport. Manager Sebastian Stahl is well prepared for the World Cup in Koenigssee – his company is already busy with preparations for the upcoming Olympic Winter Games: "We are preparing for Sochi 2014. At the beginning of November, we already took care of the logistics during the local international training week on behalf of the national and international Olympic Committees", says Stahl. With this training for the athletes the logistics specialists are already practising for the use in 2014.

The good news are: The track of the "Sanki Sliding Center" in Sochi, Russia has been approved by the lugers of the Bobsleigh and Luge Federation of Germany (BSD) – logistics specialist Stahl is also looking forward to the Olympic challenge in just about 400 days. First, however, there will be the Luge World Cup in Koenigssee, and other events, as the winter sports season has just begun, according to Sebastian Stahl. For athletes and teams the logistic support by Conceptum Sport Logistics is crucial to focus on the training and the next competition. Therefore personal care is more than just logistics – it also includes organizing accommodations and flights for the teams by Conceptum.
