Lotte Chilsung Beverage Co. has joined the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade as an official sponsor of the event.

On the 17th, the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade Organizing Committee (hereafter GUOC 2015) signed an agreement with Lotte Chilsung as the official sponsor for beverage category, with Yoon Jang-hyun (GUOC Chairman), Kim Yoon-suk (GUOC Secretary General), and Lee Jae-hyuk (Lotte Chilsung CEO) in attendance.

As an official partner of the Games, Lotte Chilsung Beverage Co. will provide water and beverages for all participating athletes, referees, and judges, as well as volunteers.

Ever since its first step into the Korean beverage market in 1950 with Chilsung cider, Lotte Chilsung has continued to provide the public with qualified products and has grown into a leading company in the Korean beverage market.

As an official sponsor, Lotte Chilsung will be given the rights to use the title of official sponsor of the 2015 Gwangju Universiade, as well as the logo and will also be given the rights to advertise and promote in the competition venues on A-boards.

Utilizing these rights, Lotte Chilsung will produce a special edition product with the Gwangju Universiade logo and promote through various media outlets, such as TV and online commercials.

Yoon Jang-hyun, Chairman of GUOC, commented, "We are thankful that a leading beverage company such as Lotte Chilsung has been able to join us as an official sponsor for the Games."
