Lord Coe, Chairman of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee [LOCOG], today unveiled the Prestige Pavilion - the official onsite hospitality venue in the Olympic Park.

The Prestige Pavilion was designed and built by Prestige Ticketing, London 2012's in-venue hospitality provider. Prestige Ticketing's programme is the very first time that official onsite and in-venue hospitality, that is available to purchase and is not the preserve of sponsors, has been on offer at an Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Prestige Pavilion at the Olympic Park is the largest temporary hospitality structure ever constructed at a sports event. The three-floor structure can cater for up to 3,000 people a day and is only 70 metres from the Olympic Stadium. It is one of four innovative hospitality structures being built by Prestige Ticketing and it will be open for the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In addition to the Prestige Pavilion in the Olympic Park, Prestige Ticketing is also building facilities for the Olympic Games at Horse Guards Parade for Beach Volleyball, Greenwich Park for Equestrian and Eton Dorney for Rowing. Prestige Ticketing is also managing the hospitality facilities at Wimbledon for Tennis and North Greenwich Arena for Gymnastics and Basketball finals.

With a levy on every hospitality package sold, Prestige Ticketing is very proud to fund the London 2012 Ticketshare scheme, which provides thousands of free tickets to school children and service men and women all around the UK.

By winning the London 2012 hospitality rights, Prestige Ticketing was allocated approximately 80,000 tickets - equivalent to about 1% of the total ticket allocation. With just under forty days to go until the start of London 2012, Prestige Ticketing is also pleased to announce that over 85% of its allocation of tickets has now been sold. These are the only hospitality packages that will include onsite hospitality in the official Olympic and Paralympic Games venues along with top-category event tickets.

Prestige Ticketing also recently launched a new partnership with Ticketmaster, the online ticketing company, which enables their fully inclusive hospitality offer, including top category tickets for London 2012 events, to be purchased online as individual packages by Olympic fans and corporations. The hospitality packages can be purchased online now by visiting: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/prestigeticketing.

Guests visiting the Prestige Pavilion will be treated to a first class experience at the Games for what will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in London. There will be an excellent selection of food and wines served in refined surroundings with exceptional service that will create unforgettable moments.

Prestige Ticketing have used the most talented chefs in Sodexo Prestige to create exquisite menus that will showcase the very best of British ingredients sourced from sustainable, artisanal suppliers and local British farms and companies. The Prestige Pavilion hospitality experience at London 2012 will therefore be highlighting the best and freshest of British foods and promoting the UK's finest culinary talent to the world.

Lord Coe, Chairman of LOCOG, said:

"The Prestige Pavilion will be a spectacular hospitality venue at Games time and those who use it will undoubtedly have an unforgettable experience. But they will also have contributed to our Ticketshare scheme, which will see over 200,000 tickets to the Games donated to school children all over the UK and other good causes. Hospitality is part of any Olympic Games or major event, but our programme has been put together in an innovative way, reflecting the sophisticated hospitality market in the UK and will provide a great facility at Games time."

Andrew Burton, Chief Executive Officer, Prestige Ticketing, said:

"We are delighted to unveil the Prestige Pavilion in the Olympic Park today. The Pavilion is an Olympic first - no previous Olympic Games has ever offered in-venue hospitality that is available to organisations and individuals outside of the Olympic sponsor community, and we are very proud to be managing and implementing this programme as Prestige Ticketing.

"At London 2012, we believe Prestige Ticketing will deliver a new benchmark in sports hospitality and our world class programmes will offer convenient on-site pavilions, the best category seats, fine dining and exceptional service. Our official in-venue hospitality is the only way that businesses and individuals playing host at the Games can offer a genuine Olympic experience to their clients and guests."
