(ATR) The United States retains its lead over China in the medal table on Day 16. The United States has 44 gold medals and 102 total medals. China has 38 gold medals and 86 total medals.

Hosts Great Britain remain in third in the gold medal count with 28 gold medals, while Russia is third in total medals with 78.

In total, 82 nations have won a medal, with 50 winning at least one gold.
