Lima 2019 today announced that Besco-Besalco has been appointed to build the Athletes’ Village for the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games, with construction scheduled to begin this month.
Out of a shortlist of seven, Lima 2019 awarded Besco-Besalco the construction contract based on the consortium’s cost-effective proposal to deliver the Athletes’ Village by February 2019. The total cost for the Village is estimated at PEN 344 million (approx. US$ 106m).
