The 2017 edition of the event, which begins May 22, will be the largest gathering of stakeholders involved in the stadium and arena industry.

The 'Stadium Safety and Security' workshop will be held the entire day on May 24, concluding the congress.

Digital Expert David Moore to Speak at ISSC Seminar
President of WPP Digital and Chairman of Xaxis David J. Moore has been named one of the confirmed speakers for the International Sports Chamber of Commerce seminar on June 7 in New York.
Moore has nearly 40 years of experience in media and technology and has 'lead a start-up company to become a leader in digital marketing' according to the ISCC.

Paralympic Medalist Rory Cooper Joins Sport Scientists for VISTA Keynote
U.S. Army veteran and Paralympic medalist Rory Cooper has been announced as one of many keynote speakers at the VISTA 2017 conference.
Cooper received a bronze medal in wheelchair racing at the 1988 Seoul Games. He also held the world record forthe 10,000-meter wheelchair race before becoming a coach and sports science researcher.
Cooper currently works at the University of Pittsburgh in the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine andintends to share his knowledge on the future of technology in sport and to raise awareness on how sport can be impacted by its advancements.
"There are advances in manufacturing, robotics, and cybernetics that are making an impact at an increasing rate. The changes will impact the Paralympic Movement, and it is best that people are informed and engaged,"he says in a statement.
"I hope that listeners will take away the critical role that technology plays in adaptive sports and recreation, and how technological advances pose both opportunities and challenges."
The three-day conference held in Toronto, Canada intends to bring 300 of the world's leading sports scientists to discuss topics under the theme "Opportunities and Challenges in Paralympic Sport Science and Sport Medicine Support".
The event will feature an Interactive Learning and Scientific Celebration where the winner of the IPC Paralympic Scientific Award will be announced. Cooper was the recipient of the award in 2013.

Team Canada Hosts Media Summit for PyeongChang 2018
Media have been invited by the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) to engage with Canada's athletes ahead of the PyeongChang Games.
The two-day summit will be hosted along with the Olympic Lab - an initiative helping to prepare Canada's athletes for the Games.
Over 75 athletes are expected to be in attendance.
Team Canada's chef de mission Isabelle Charest will also be available for press.
The event will be held June 3-4.
