WTF Hosts Brainstorming Session

The first World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) Coach Seminar is looking to improve taekwondo for Tokyo 2020.

Thirty coaches from around the world have convened in Seoul for five days to discuss ways they can prepare for the next Olympic Games.

"The coaches can ask questions of the WTF on the policy side – this is the first time we have given them a platform to speak for themselves," WTF Director General Jin-bang Yang said in a statement.

"The WTF expects more of these opportunities, so coaches will have more chance to influence policy – especially Competition Rules, championship management, and ranking and qualification policy."
