For nearly two decades, Jeffrey G. Benz has built his career as a hands-on litigator, transactional attorney, in-house counsel, and ADR neutral, establishing a solid track record of success in all aspects of legal practice.As a neutral for the past 5 years in a wide variety of cases, he has seen his fair share of complex cases. Formerly General Counsel for the United States Olympic Committee and the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, for an independent film production company, and for a technology company doing business in China, Benz has particular expertise in sports, entertainment, and content generation/distribution. Prior to going in house, Benz was with the international law firm of Coudert Brothers.

Having worked in London, China (Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong), Honolulu, New York, Geneva, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, Benz is acutely aware of the various needs of a global company, and his dispute resolution and prior legal practice, extertise includes broad areas of complex business, insurance, financial, commercial, regulatory, and technology matters.

Benz is a member of the panels of neutrals as arbitrator and/or mediator, for the American Arbitration Association, Hong Kong International Arbitration Center, Beijing Arbitration Commission, Republic of China Arbitration Association, London Court of International Arbitration, International Chamber of Commerce, Court of Arbitration for Sport, and Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Benz received his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Texas School of Law and later obtained a MBA degree from the University of Michigan, where he also attended as an undergraduate. Benz is admitted as an attorney to practice before the bar in California, Colorado and Hawaii, and his New York admission is pending.
