La Jolla, California, USA, March 11, 2020 - The ISA has taken note of the decision by the government of El Salvador to impose a nationwide quarantine, restricting all international travel into the country.
The ISA and the El Salvador government have agreed to continue the preparations for the upcoming Surf City El Salvador ISA World Surfing Games as planned on May 9-17.
The parties will continue to follow on a daily basis the developments of the Coronavirus outbreak globally and in El Salvador and will reassess the status of the event again on March 31st 2020.
