As exclusive media and marketing partner of the World Curling Federation (WCF), Infront Sports & Media, a Wanda Sports company, has signed a sponsorship agreement with LGT as main sponsor of the World Women’s Curling Championship 2017 (WWCC) in Beijing, China.
In addition, the international private banking and asset management group is expanding its involvement to include the Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships (ECC) for the next two years consisting of the 2016 event in Braehead, Scotland – which begins this week (19-26 November) – and the 2017 event in St. Gallen, Switzerland (17-25 November).
The package of rights secured by LGT provides the brand with key exposure at the events – featuring on advertising boards, as well as under ice advertising and and the logo of the finance company will be integrated on player jerseys, scoreboards and interview backdrops. Additionally, LGT is included on all communications material and receives a hospitality contingent that offers a behind-the-scenes tour and invitations to official events such as the opening and closing ceremonies.
