(ATR) Carlos Neuhaus re-appeared this Wednesday on Peruvian television to send another message of optimism but this time it had nothing to do with the Pan American Games.
The former head of the Lima 2019 Organizing Committee was appointed the day before by the Peru President Martín Vizcarra as spokesperson for the Vaccine Command.
Given the situation facing Peruvian society due to the coronavirus, a group of senior executives and representatives of the Ministries of Health, Foreign Affairs, and Economy and Finance have organized Vaccine Command to help manage the acquisition and application of vaccines against COVID-19.

French Figure Skater Faces Renewed Inquiry
(ATR) Sexual abuse allegations against Olympic pairs skater Morgan Cipres have been reopened in Pasco County, Florida.
An unidentified 13-year old female figure skater made allegations against Cipres in 2017. Cipres allegedly direct messaged sexually explicit photos via Instagram.
The minor skated at the same rink with Cipres in Wesley Chapel, Fl. During a phone interview by USA Today Cipres declined to discuss the allegations stating, "I cannot talk with you about anything about that. I mean, I have nothing to say about this allegation."

ATRadio: 2020 YOG Like Flying an F-18
(ATR) Ian Logan, CEO of this year's Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, discusses the good fortune in being able to stage the event in January just ahead of the coronavirus.
He tells ATR Editor Ed Hula that it reminded him of when he flew F-18 fighter jets and had to constantly adapt to changing circumstances.
