Host City Asia Heads to Olympic City -- Conferences and Conventions

(ATR)The Asia edition of the Host City conference will be held at the future home of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games – Beijing.

"China is investing $850 billion in sports by 2025 and is looking for global partners to develop its entertainment and cultural sectors. Host City Asia provides the platform to connect the international industry with this booming market," Host City’s Editorial and Conference Director Ben Avison said in a statement.

Host City is the largest meeting of cities and sports, business and cultural events where delegates examine how cities can become hubs for entertainment and culture, digital media, marketing and more.

A array of panel discussions and case studies will be held under the theme of "New Audiences through Sports and Entertainment" during the event.

MeetingsQuest Program Unveiled

The second MeetingsQuest event of the year will once again be held in Atlantic City, USA and feature conversations with industry experts, celebrations and more.

The two day conference will open on the city's famous boardwalk where participants can network and enjoy a night of dance.

Day two of the conference will include a series of briefings among industry experts such as the founding partner of Howe & Hutton and general counsel for Meeting Professionals International, Jonathan Howeandformer president of the International Association of Exhibitions & Events, Steven Hacker.

The event will also once again feature a keynote address by Olympic gymnast and gold medalist Shannon Miller.

Miller intends to give participants an idea of what its like to have a ‘gold-medal mindset’ through personal experiences, her fight against ovarian cancer and how she tackles day to day challenges.

Another networking session along with a cash prize drawing will close the event .

Meetings Quest 2017 will be held at the Borgata Hotel from June 28-29.

ISCC Offers Sponsorship Seminar

The London chapter of the International Sports Chamber of Commerce (ISCC)will host a sports sponsorship and networking seminar on June 20.

The mission of the seminar is to "help businesses and individuals grow and make new connections," according to the ISCC. "Simply our goal is to help you grow your revenues."

The event is the second of six being held in the city this year. The seminars are three to four hours long with about two hours of networking time before and after the seminars.

The seminars include leaders from sports agencies, brands, service providers, suppliers, rights holders and more.

Barclays Senior Brand Activation manager James Tyrrell, British Gas Head of Sponsorship Mathew Leopold and Everything Everywhere Ltd. Head of Sports Sponsorship Matt Stevensonare among confirmed speakers of the event.

The ISCC is based in the Olympic capital of Lausanne, Switzerland and "provides a professional environment for sports business people and organizations".

iSportConnect Hosts e-sport Education Class

ISportConnect will host a master class on electronic sports (e-sports) asits popularity grows rapidly around the world.

The public event will be held at the Lewis Silkin law firm in London on June 29.

The masterclass will open with a keynote on e-sport relevancy and growth. Following the keynote, delegates will have the opportunity to attend three panel discussions on topics ranging from the future of e-sports to reaching millennials.

The event capacity is capped at 70 delegates allowing intimate access to key decision makers in the e-sports industry.
